Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. If you are interested in becoming a new patient, please use the Contact Us form or send an email to carolynbuttontherapy@gmail.com. I see patients ages 10 and older with an emphasis on pre-teens, teens and adults.
Do you take insurance?
I accept CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in Maryland for individual therapy.
I am out-of-network for all other health insurance plans. This means that the cost of the appointment is due at the time of service, unless arrangements have previously been made. I do provide a super bill you can use for reimbursement. For all co-parenting work I am out of network.
What are the fees?
- 60 minute intake – $200
- 50 minute therapy appointment – $175
- 50 minute parent coaching session – $200
- Letters, forms, phone calls (over 15 minutes) are priced by the amount of time spent on each of these services. 15 minute calls or under are free for current clients.
How often are patients seen?
At the outset of a new patient relationship, patients are typically seen once per week for 3 months or longer.
Do you do in-person visits or only virtual?
I offer in person counseling for my Maryland clients in Easton, Maryland, Monday through Friday. I offer late afternoon appointments on Monday and Tuesday in Easton. I provide online counseling sessions for my Colorado clients Monday through Friday.
